Environment Canada is predicting the summer-like weather will stick around for the next few weeks. For this time of the year, the average high temperature is 21C in the London region. "Overall, we are expecting those temperatures to be a little bit warmer than normal," says Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Geoff Coulson. "We do know that there's an El Nino situation happening in the waters of the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of South America. El Nino meaning those waters are warmer than normal and that can tend to an influence on our fall and winter weather." Fall officially arrives in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 23.
