London Anti-Bullying Coalition Dissolving

After 12 years of trying to address the problem of bullying, the London Anti-Bullying Coalition will soon be no more.

The LABC Board of Directors announced Wednesday it is dissolving the coalition. The decision comes after Executive Director Corina Morrison said she would be vacating her post on June 30.

During her time at the helm of the coalition, Morrison co-authored a parent guide for addressing bullying in publicly funded schools in Ontario and brought awareness and education to the issue of bullying.

The coalition's website will remain operational until June 30, 2017 as a resource for parents, teachers, and students.

The non-profit organization relied solely on volunteers and had no on-going funding. The board is hoping a different group of volunteers will continue to advocate on the behalf of victims of bullying.
