London's third outdoor skating rink has officially opened for the season.

The City of London confirmed the Rotary Rink at the Covent Garden Market opened on Monday.

The rink in front of the popular downtown market will welcome skaters from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays until mid-March - weather permitting. This season, skate rentals will be available on site.

The other two outdoor rinks maintained by the city opened last month. They are located in Victoria Park and at Storybook Gardens.

Skating at the Rotary Rink and in Victoria Park is free of charge. Skating on the 250-metre skating trail at Storybook Gardens costs $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for children aged 2 to 17. There is no cost for children under 24-months-old.
