OHL expands vaccine policy to include spectators

Anyone planning to watch an OHL regular season game or practice this fall will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) announced additional health and safety protocols Friday afternoon. The expansion of its current vaccination policy, which applies to OHL members, will include spectators and attendees of any OHL event.

Starting October 7, spectators will need to provide proof of vaccination and abide by safety protocols at each facility.

Children under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.

There are 17 Ontario-based teams within the OHL, which include the Sarnia Sting, Windsor Spitfires, and London Knights.

The Sarnia Sting will release information to ticket holders soon as the organization is currently working to identify how to best execute the new health protocols.
