New Rescue Truck Arrives In Kincardine

The Kincardine Fire Department has taken ownership of a brand new rescue truck.

It was showing off to councillors as they arrived for a council meeting.

The $300,000 rescue truck was delivered last Friday to the Kincardine Fire Department. It will replace a 30-year-old van.

Kincardine Fire Chief Ken Padfield said the new truck was built in British Columbia.

He says it will have many uses, including use as a command vehicle, a rehab area for firefighters needing a break, and a lighting truck.
