Bruce Power's Incoming CEO Stresses Safety

The incoming president and CEO of Bruce Power says he has worked closely with Bruce Power and Canada's nuclear industry throughout his career.

Michael Rencheck looks forward to building on the amazing progress made since Bruce Power's creation.

Rencheck stresses that Safety First is the number one value as the company works to deliver low-cost, clean and reliable electricity.

He says that trust will never be compromised as it is fundamental to their long term success.

Rencheck says he understands the positive economic impact nuclear facilities have on surrounding communities in midwestern Ontario. He adds that the plant also plays a major role in Ontario's Long-Term Energy Plan.

Rencheck says he will build on the companies strong reputation for communication, collaboration and social responsibility.

He says he and his wife Carol are looking forward to joining a beautiful and vibrant community.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
