MPP Bill Walker warns that families in Bruce and Grey counties will continue to pay more and get less.
He says saddling future generations with over $311-billion in debt means the government will spend more on debt, than on children transportation, post secondary education or agriculture.
He says the interest on the debt costs over $11-billion a year, making the province the largest subnational borrower in the world.
He says without a plan to get the debt under control, all key public services are at risk including schools and hospitals.
He says local issues such as school closures, seniors care and hospital budgets continue to go unaddressed.
He says after frozen hospital funding for four years, a three per cent increase will not cover rising hydro and operating costs.
He adds the government has not committed to adding a single long term care bed despite a waiting list over 26,500.
In the meantime, he says the government is selling Hydro One, and adding a new cap and trade tax to look as if they have balanced the budget.
