South Bruce OPP find stolen vehicle connected to Ripley incident this week

South Bruce Bruce OPP officers located a stolen vehicle that was the subject of a major police response Monday.

It turned up parked on Glad Stone Street in Huron Kinloss. Police had it towed to the Kincardine OPP detachment for examination.

On Monday, April 1, South Bruce OPP called in the West Region's Emergency Response Team, canine and Tactics and Rescue Unit in response to a vehicle theft near Ripley.

The suspects involved in this theft are still outstanding.

The investigation is ongoing and further updates will be provided as they become available.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
