Seniors Summit coming to Owen Sound

A "Seniors' Summit" is coming to Grey County.

The event will be held at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound all day on Wednesday, September 25, where local seniors will learn how to live safely, enjoy good health and stay engaged in their local communities.

The keynote address speaker will be Dr. Brian Goldman, host of CBC's award-winning radio show called "White Coat, Black Art".

The event will include tips for seniors on staying healthy, preventing fraud and scams, a discussion on transportation, and getting the most out of healthcare appointments.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
