Poor travel conditions expected Saturday

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Sarnia-Lambton for Saturday.

The agency said that snow will likely mix with freezing drizzle through the day, resulting in light ice build-up and slippery surfaces.

Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 centimetres are possible.

The weather conditions may make visibility poor at times and could contribute to transportation delays.

Environment Canada says to avoid travel if possible or take extra care when driving or walking.
