The NDP candidate for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound kicked off his election campaign on the weekend and unveiled his 100 per cent biodegradable election lawn signs.
Chris Stephen held a barbecue on Saturday and outlined his priorities for the campaign.
He said he will focus on what he calls the toughest issues of our time -- inequality, climate change, and reconciliation with First Nations.
He also said he supports "pharmacare for all, increasing the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour and then to a living wage.'
He promised the NDP would "protect people's pensions when companies go bankrupt" and "make it easier for workers to join unions to protect their wages and rights."
