Some vaccine clinics continue into the weekend

While new COVID-19 cases continue to be confirmed in the region, walk-in vaccine clinics will carry into the weekend in some areas with more clinics scheduled for next week.

There is a clinic in Exeter at the community centre between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

More clinics are scheduled over the coming days and a full list can be found by clicking here.

 

In Grey and Bruce, there are five clinics scheduled for Thursday and two for Friday.

Although there are no clinics scheduled for the weekend, there are several being offered next week, Monday through Thursday.

 

In Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph, there is a clinic in Arthur at the arena between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday. It is among a list of clinics over the next several days.

Meanwhile, public health in Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph started offering a third dose this week to a specific population. That includes transplant recipients, patients with hematological cancers, recipients of an anti-CD20 agent and residents of high-risk congregate settings.

The public health website lists the specifics, timeframes and contact information for those in the key groups that may need a third shot.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
