Teen programs offered at Owen Sound Library

The Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library is offering opportunities for teens to try fun new activities.

Teens in grades 7-12 can join programs like painting, a Murder Mystery Party, and the Teen BINGO Challenge.

The after-hours Murder Mystery Party for teens takes place on August 16 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Participants can arrive in character and in costume for the full experience. The library promises a night of intrigue, suspense, refreshments, and lots of plot twists.

Next, the library will host an embroidery program on August 19 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. where teens can customize their clothes and other items. Teens can either bring their own clothes or use materials provided to learn a new skill and elevate their style.

As well, teens can get rewarded for their reading by participating in a Teen BINGO Challenge. They can pick up a Teen BINGO card, read books that correspond with the challenges, report their reading, and win.

Each square completed enters readers into a weekly prize draw and each row completed is an entry into the big End of Summer Prize Draw for a $50 gift card to the location of your choice
