Several communities in midwestern Ontario can expect a lot of snow over the next few days.
Environment Canada has issued snow squall warnings for much of the region, while some areas are under a special weather advisory.
Between 30 and 60 cm of snow is expected to fall between Sunday night and Wednesday morning.
"Lake effect snow is expected to persist into Wednesday morning before weakening and shifting northward to be confined mainly over the Bruce Peninsula," Environment Canada said. "There is considerable uncertainty in the exact placement of the heaviest lake effect snow bands."
Around 50 km/h winds are expected to accompany the snow squalls, causing could reduce visibility when driving.
