County hosting job fair for student summer positions

The County of Huron is inviting students to attend a live and virtual job fair this month.

On February 18 from 3-6:30 p.m., students interested in a potential job with the County this summer can go live to the Huron County Museum in Goderich. Students can also attend a virtual job fair that same day from 9 a.m. until noon.

There are a wide range of employment opportunities at the County of Huron for students this summer, including at the museum itself, the County’s long-term care department, Homes for the Aged, and even skilled trades positions helping out Huron County's Public Works team.

"We have a variety of summer jobs available this season and we warmly welcome students to apply," said County of Huron Director of Human Resources, Lara Vanstone. "If you’re excited to learn something new, help your community, or just want to build your resume, join us at the County’s job fair."

Students are welcome to bring their resumes to the job fair or apply online. To learn more about what job positions are available at the job fair visit the link on our website or huroncounty.ca/jobs.
