No change to COVID caseload in Sarnia-Lambton

COVID-19 tests results received by Lambton Public Health have topped 25,000.

In its daily update Monday night, the local health agency reported it has received the results from 25,087 tests since the pandemic started. Nearly 99 per cent of the tests have been negative for the virus.

The health unit reported no change to the local caseload, 314 of the 343 confirmed cases have been deemed resolved and there are four active cases. The death toll stands at 25.

Ontario reported 313 new cases Monday, its highest single-day increase in COVID-19 cases in over three months.
