The City of Sarnia's seasonal ban on overnight street parking has ended.
As of Friday, we're allowed to once again park our vehicles on city streets between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. without receiving a ticket.
Vehicles can be left on the road for up to 12 hours.
Parking restrictions will be implemented on November 30, 2022.
At around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters from Point Edward Fire and Rescue were called to the westbound lanes, where a red truck cab was in flames.
Some donated items will also be given to The Haven Youth Shelter, The Inn of the Good Shepherd, and Mission Thrift Store Sarnia, which will benefit the Women's Interval Home.
In January, city hall issued a total of 22 permits with a construction value of just over $1.2 million.
