Overnight parking restrictions take effect in Sarnia

Winter parking regulations in the city of Sarnia officially take effect on Thursday, December 1.

Vehicles will not be allowed to park on residential streets between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

The restrictions are to allow for snow removal operations, and will be in effect until March 31, 2023.

The only exception is on New Year's Eve when motorists will be able to leave their vehicles parked on the road for the night, without getting a ticket.
