Lambton Fire Trade Show returns for 25th year

Firefighters from across the province will meet for the 25th annual Lambton County Fire Trade Show, following a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Warwick Fire Chief Brad Goodhill said Saturday's event will also be the first year the trade show will be held at the Lambton College Fire School, located on LaSalle Line in Sarnia.

Goodhill said exhibitors, both local and from across the province, will be at the event to sell and service fire equipment.

"Typically we will have firefighters anywhere from Windsor through to Brantford and as far up north as Kincardine, and everywhere in between to attend," he said. "If anyone wants to come out to see the latest and greatest equipment the fire services use, then you're more than welcome."

An added benefit to hosting the trade show is the opportunity for local firefighters to speak with those from other jurisdictions and to highlight the latest training programs.

Goodhill said they normally see about 300 people attend these trade shows.

The event is open to the public, free of charge. The fire trade show will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
