The total number of charges laid this year by West Region OPP was up compared to last year at over 2,400.

Charges laid by West Region OPP during this year's campaign include:

- 1552 speeding charges (51 stunt/racing charges) - 60 impaired driving charges (11 warn-range suspensions) - 94 seatbelt charges - 22 distracting driving charges

OPP's West Region includes 13 detachments and covers areas such as London-Middlesex, Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex, and Huron County.
