Lucasville Sign Mystery Solved

The mystery of the Lucasville sign has been solved.

Residents were left scratching their heads when a sign went up along Plank Rd. entering Sarnia.

City Planning Manager Kevin Edwards says the province wanted to know if "Lucasville," along with Brights Grove and Mandaumin, should remain on official road maps.

Lucasville was named after George Lucas, an early settler, hotel owner and first postmaster.
