Sarnia-Lambton Flu Cases Increase

There are now 25 confirmed cases of the flu in Sarnia Lambton.

Lambton Public Health Supervisor Erin Courtney says that's up from 18 at the same time last season.

There have been no flu related deaths so far this season.

Residents are reminded to continue to prevent the spread of viruses by washing hands with soap frequently, keeping ill family members home from school or work and cleaning regularly touched surfaces like door handles and computer keyboards often.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
