Bowl-A-Thon 2015

Local politicians, police and other community members were at Lambton College Monday morning to try their hand at pottery.

Their creations along with hundreds of others crafted by ceramics students will be sold at the 8th annual Empty Bowls dinner February 3.

Ceramics Instructor and event co-ordinator Beth Turnbull Morrish says it's a lot of fun making the bowls at the college's ceramics studio.

Tickets are $25 for next month's dinner.

There's live music and entertainment through the night with sittings at 5pm and 7pm.
