The Sting got some players back from injury including leading scorer Nikita Korostelev and Orleans Ont. native Patrick White.

Late in the game, however, overage defenseman Josh Chapman was given a game misconduct for a flagrant elbow to the head of an Ottawa player and will be subject to league disciplinary action.

Sarnia was outshot 26-21 with veteran goaltender Taylor Dupuis taking the loss.
