City Police Hold Annual 'Shred It' Event Saturday

Sarnia police in co-operation with Shred It and Walmart held their annual "Shred It" event Saturday. Constable John Sottosanti says a number of residents came out, despite cool temperatures, wind and some rain to properly dispose of personal and confidential documents. Police believe doing so helps prevent fraud and identity theft. The event was held at the Sarnia Walmart parking lot from 10am until 2pm. Donations were accepted for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
