Suspect Vehicle Speeds Away From Police

Lambton OPP is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect vehicle with stolen plates. An officer spotted a suspicious vehicle on the westbound Hwy. 402. around 4pm, Monday and determined its licence plates had been reported stolen to Sarnia police last month. OPP say the vehicle sped away and was clocked at more than 130 km/hr. The officer broke off the pursuit in the interest of public safety and the vehicle was last seen travelling north on Oil Heritage Rd. Police are looking for a grey four-door Audi A4 with recent repairs to the front left panel. The driver is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, of thin build with curly brown hair, wearing an orange reflective construction t-shirt at the time. Anyone with information should call Lambton OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
