Police Seeking Owners Of Stolen GPS Units And Keys (GALLERY)

Sarnia police are trying to identify numerous stolen items recovered when a search warrant was executed in the 200-block of Maxwell St. July 12.

Some of the property, believed stolen from motor vehicles, has been returned to the rightful owners but police still have a number of GPS units and several sets of keys.

Police say the GPS units have been wiped clean by the thieves so serial numbers or unique identifying markings are needed for the items to be claimed.

They're also trying to match the sets of keys to vehicles or structures they were made for.

Two men, aged 42 and 28, and a 40-year-old woman, all from Sarnia, face various charges including possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, identity theft and possession of a stolen credit card.

Anyone looking to recover their GPS unit or keys should contact Constable Aaron Johnston at 519-344-8861 ext. 6199.
