War Amps Tags Arriving In The Mail

War Amp tags should be arriving in Sarnia any day now. Spokesperson Jamie Lunn says if you get the two tags in the mail, you're asked to attach them to your car key chains. Nearly 13,000 sets of lost keys are returned every year. "When people lose their keys and get them back, they are definitely very appreciative and that's when they choose to donate," she says. "People find value in the service especially now because of the high replacement cost of electronic fobs and keys. It can sometimes cost hundreds of dollars to replace them." War Amps is a registered Canadian charity established in 1918 to meet the needs of war amputees. It has since expanded to provide assistance to child and adult amputees. It receives no government funding.
