Lambton College unveils new slogan

Lambton College has a new mantra, "Change Everything."

It's hoped the new slogan, revealed Wednesday, will convey the message that the college is not catching up or reacting to transformation, but has been anticipating it and is leading the way.

Senior Director of Marketing, Communications and Brand Management Cindy Buchanan said it replaces "Choose Lambton."

"Lambton College is in another place now, with the builds, with our growth in international [students], our growth in programs and frankly, we have 12,000 students worldwide now," said Buchanan. "So, we're in a new place and we wanted a slogan that would really bring that to life."

Buchanan said they wanted a phrase that embraced the fourth industrial revolution, which has been described as a fusion of advances in things like artificial intelligence, robotics, the internet, 3D printing and genetic engineering.

"It's going to be used in all of our marketing material, all of our recruitment material worldwide. We're doing all sorts of things on billboards, social media, messaging, we've got an advertising campaign," she said.

Lambton College has also updated the name and logo for its research department.

The Applied Research & Innovation Department will now be known as just Research & Innovation, with a new look featuring the R and I, linking the design to the department name.
