Petrolia Rotary Club provides new chairs for Victoria Hall

There are brand new chairs in the lobby at Petrolia's Victoria Hall. The Rotary Club of Petrolia provided 120 new chairs to replace the existing 30-year-old ones, at a cost of $7,000. Mayor Brad Loosley commended the club for its generosity. "The Town of Petrolia is fortunate to have the Rotary Club of Petrolia working to support our community in so many ways," Loosley said in a news release. "The Rotary Club helps with a major project in our community every year and we are honoured to be the recipient of this gift." The town said the lobby chairs serve more than 40,000 patrons of Victoria Playhouse and more than 25 community uses that add another 10,000 visitors each year.
