Interval Home receives holiday cheer from LGS contractor

A demolition and environmental contractor working at the decommissioned Lambton Generating Station recently brought some holiday cheer to the Women's Interval Home of Sarnia Lambton.

Management, staff and labourers of JMX Contracting of Uxbridge donated non-perishable food items, female toiletries and baby diapers to the shelter, as part of a campaign that began in November.

The daughter of Site Project Administrator Tracy Leblond, seven-year-old Piper Brousseau, also helped out by collecting 30 stuffed animals for the children at the Interval Home.

JMX made a similar donation to the home back in the summer, and say they're strong believers and advocates for giving back to the community they’re currently working in.

The Interval Home has been in operation for more than 40 years, providing free confidential 24-hour emergency shelter services to women and children, a crisis line, and transitional housing support.
