Pilots from across Ontario and local residents descended upon Sarnia's Chris Hadfield Airport Saturday.
The fly-in event, organized by the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) Flight 7 flying club, was also attended by the airport's namesake and former astronaut Chris Hadfield, who took time to chat with local residents and sign autographs.
It was the first event for the flying club in two years due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The group said it wanted to do something positive to help out the community, and the airport.
