Lambton Public Health reopening some services for public access

Lambton Public Health has reopened some services for public access at its main office.

The health unit issued a public service announcement Monday, saying the decision was made as the province reduces public health measures and to support the planned COVID-19 immunization clinics at the facility at 160 Exmouth Street in Point Edward.

The public can now access the Harm Reduction Program for supplies, including Naloxone kits, and pick up or drop off well water testing kits on a walk-in basis.

Other clinical services will continue to be offered by appointment only.

Full details on the service changes can be found here.

The health unit said COVID-19 screening and masking are still required at the facility.

Several of the clinical services provided fall under the public health and workplace safety measures for healthcare settings which are still covered under mandates by the province.
