Competitors get set for Race to Erase

Small groups will race across the community this weekend for the 14th annual Race to Erase fundraiser.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 28.

Funds raised will go towards various charities in Sarnia-Lambton, including Literacy Lambton, Noelle’s Gift, Pathways Health Centre for Children, and River City Vineyard.

The last in-person event was held in 2019 and raised about $43,000. As of Friday morning, over $25,000 had been raised in total.

Race to Erase Co-founder Rich Bouchard previously said he was excited for the event to return following a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event involves small teams travelling to different locations to complete challenges.
