Three suspects arrested, one sought in violent home invasion

Sarnia police have arrested three suspects, and are searching for another, after a violent home invasion on Devine Street.

Officers were called to a home just west of Indian Road South at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14.

It's alleged four men broke into the residence and assaulted some of the occupants, in what's being called a 'targeted attack'.

One victim was transported to Bluewater Health by Lambton EMS for medical attention. They were released with what were described as 'non life threatening' injuries.

Police said the suspects stole a television and a bicycle before leaving the property.

As a result of a quick response by officers, three of four suspects were identified and arrested on criminal charges.

Ronald Johnson, 34, Kyle Johnson, 34, and Tyson Borden, 33, are each charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, robbery, and assault causing bodily harm.

Borden faces an additional charge of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Sarnia police are stressing that the parties are known to each other, and there is no threat to public safety.

Anyone with information on the identity of the fourth suspect involved is asked to call the Sarnia Police Service at 519-344-8861 Ext. 0 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
