A man wanted in connection to multiple theft investigations has turned himself in to Lambton OPP and is now facing nearly a dozen charges.
Provincial police issued a notice on social media on January 5 in an effort to find 33-year-old Cody Price.
In a Twitter post, OPP said Price was "known to frequently steal vehicles" and was wanted in connection to an incident reported in St. Clair Township on December 30, 2022.
Police said Price turned himself in at the Petrolia OPP detachment Sunday evening.
In addition to multiple car thefts, police said Price was wanted for alleged dangerous driving and assault occurrences in late December 2022.
The Plympton-Wyoming resident was held in custody following a bail hearing.
Price is charged with the following:
- Assault a peace officer with a weapon
- Flight from peace officer
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Break and enter a place
- Theft of motor vehicle (two counts)
- Theft over $5,000 from a motor vehicle (two counts)
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 (two counts)
- Failure to comply with release order
Charges against the accused have not been proven in court.
