Nadine Neve has officially been named executive lead of the Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team, after serving in the role on an interim basis for several months.
Neve was appointed as interim executive lead in July after she previously served as health system integration lead.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue collaborating closely with our community partners in co-designing an improved health experience for everyone in Sarnia-Lambton,” said Neve in a media release. “We all have a shared goal of improving health system navigation, and there are several exciting projects coming to fruition in 2024 that we know will have a positive impact on the patient’s healthcare journey.”
Neve has over 20 years of working experience in healthcare, and was manager of emergency services and patient flow at Bluewater Health. She holds a master’s degree in business and a diploma in respiratory therapy and healthcare management.
“[Neve] is a proven leader with exceptional knowledge within the realm of healthcare. She not only holds a complex understanding of the system, she is also passionate about bettering the healthcare journey for everyone,” said Chair of the Sarnia-Lambton OHT Collaboration Council.
As of January 4, 2024, Julie Harries will assume the role of health system integration lead.
Harries previously worked at Lambton Public Health, where she played an integral role in the expansion of the Age-Friendly Sarnia-Lambton website and the Older Adult Care Pathway research projects.
The Sarnia-Lambton OHT is a collaboration of 35 partners working to improve health services in the community.
