Lambton College wins international research award

Lambton College is getting some more international recognition.

The college was recently honoured with a bronze award of Excellence for Applied Research and Innovation.

It was presented on behalf of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP), a member-based organization which brings together colleges, polytechnics, university colleges and institutes of professional education from around the globe. The award was announced during the WFCP’s World Congress, which took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from September 22 to 27.

Lambton College President and CEO Rob Kardas said it's a proud moment for our college.

"Lambton College has a global reputation for being innovative and visionary, and our dedicated employees, students and partners consistently work to push the boundaries of applied research," said Kardas. "This award underscores the impact we are making in our own community and around the world."

WFCP previously awarded Lambton a bronze award in 2022 and a silver award in 2016 in the same category, as well as a bronze award for Entrepreneurship in 2016.
