Driver killed in Plympton-Wyoming crash

Lambton OPP are investigating a fatal crash Thursday night in Plympton-Wyoming.

OPP, Plympton-Wyoming Fire and Emergency Services and Lambton EMS were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision shortly before 9 p.m. on Aberarder Line, just west of Oil Heritage Road.

Police say the 64-year-old driver, and lone occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Aberarder Line was closed to traffic between Oil Heritage Road and Lakeshore Road for over seven hours, reopening shortly before 5 a.m. Friday.

The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team is assisting with the investigation.

Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the crash, or that has dash cam footage is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
