Daylen Moses hit the back of the net for Sarnia scoring the lone goal in the second period.
Saginaw responded with five unanswered goals in the third before Sarnia's Beckham Edwards would make it 7-3.
Evan Maillet was the starting goaltender for Sarnia tallying 31 saves on 38 shots.
