Sting make three trades involving draft picks

The Sarnia Sting are shuffling draft picks ahead of Friday's OHL Priority Selection.

The club announced three separate deals on Monday afternoon.

Sarnia acquires:

- 7th round pick (SAR) in 2027

- 15th round pick (KGN) in 2027

Kingston acquires:

- 8th round pick (KIT) in 2025

- 15th round pick (SAR) in 2025

Sarnia acquires:

- 6th round pick (FLNT) in 2025

- 15th round pick (WSR) in 2025

North Bay acquires:

- 6th round pick (SAR) in 2027

- 7th round pick (SAR) in 2028

Sarnia acquires:

- 3rd round pick (ER) in 2025

- 10th round pick (PET) in 2028

Peterborough acquires:

- 3rd round pick (SAR) in 2027

- 8th round pick (SAR) in 2026

- conditional 15th round pick (SAR) in 2027

The 2025 OHL Priority Selection will once again be conducted online beginning with round one through three on Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. followed by rounds four to 15 on Saturday, April 12.

The Sting have the fourth overall pick.

In 2024, they selected forward Alessandro Di Iorio second overall.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
