Applications being accepted for Creative County grants

If you have an arts, culture, or heritage project planned for 2026, now is the chance to try and secure some funding.

Lambton's Creative County Grant Program, which will be doling out a total maximum of $75,000, is now accepting applications

The county's goal is to invest in new and innovative projects that build cultural capacity, strengthen the creative community, and enrich the quality of life of all residents.

Organizers of new or expanding initiatives are encouraged to apply online for funding to cover up to 50 percent of project costs.

Chair of the Creative County Committee Tracy Kingston said they're looking forward to seeing what projects people have in store.

"Each year, we see applicants bring forward fresh, innovative ideas that enhance Lambton’s cultural landscape,” said Kingston. “These grants provide the spark that helps new endeavors grow and existing programs expand, ensuring arts, culture, and heritage initiatives remain strong and accessible to all."

Applications can be submitted online, on the County of Lambton's website.

The deadline is set for Monday, November 17 at 4 p.m.

In 2025, the committee approved 19 projects for funding support, representing an investment of $69,275 in the community.
