In a news release, OPP said an officer with the Anishinabek Police Service (APS) attempted a traffic stop at around 10:25 a.m. Saturday on Middle Road at Kettle and Stoney Point First Nation, but the driver allegedly failed to stop.

They were held pending a bail hearing and remanded into custody.

APS with help from the Lambton OPP Crime Unit continue to investigate.
