APS seeking help to find missing man

The Anishinabek Police Service (APS) is asking for help to find a man missing from Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.

Mark McLeod is described as 61-years-old, about six feet tall with a heavy build.

He has a white mustache, a white beard, and usually wears a dark ballcap and carries a dark coloured backpack.

Police said McLeod is of no fixed address, but may have been staying in the vicinity of Sandy Trail at the First Nation.

Anyone with information is asked to call APS at 1-888-310-1122.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.

The APS is reminding the public there is no 24-hour waiting period to report someone missing in Ontario.

Anyone can report a person as missing, and If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 9-1-1.
