A London man is facing several charges after a multi-million dollar drug seizure in Lambton County.
Police allege that just before 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, an Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) vehicle inspection led to members of the Lambton OPP's Community Street Crime Unit and Border Enforcement Security Task Force to attend the MTO scales located off Highway 402 in Plympton-Wyoming.
Police seized approximately 137 kilograms of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of $4,110,000, a quantity of Canadian and U.S. currency and other offence-related items.
Harmeet Dhamoon, 43, has been charged with trafficking and importing cocaine.
The accused has been remanded into custody until December 30.
