Kiwanis Club supports musical programming

A donation made ahead of Christmas will bring a merry tune to those involved at Harmony for Youth.

The Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K recently donated $2,000 to the organization.

Proceeds were raised by volunteering through the Jackpot Time Sarnia Bingo program.

The local club said the program runs through the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association and allows a portion of the money raised to be donated to the charities and non-profit organizations that volunteer at the facility.

Harmony for Youth provides music lessons to children within Sarnia-Lambton. According to its website, chorus participation provides children with important life skills such as discipline, commitment, and teamwork.
