Finances And Industry Looking Good

Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara is excited for what 2015 will bring.

He says the budget alone is going to make life easier, as policing and lifecycle costs are coming way down. "It's not like, 'Oh gosh, this year it's a 3% or 4% increase, and next year we're looking towards another 4% or 5% increase.' That's behind us now."

McNamara explains the Town of Tecumseh will actually see a 3% decrease in policing costs compared to last year, while it's lifecycle reserve is now where it needs to be.

The mayor is also looking forward to seeing Bonduelle bounce back after its massive fire, watching the tool and die industry continue its growth and discovering what opportunities the medical marijuana industry will create.
