If you are missing live performances, Amherstburg Freedom Museum may have something to sate your craving.
It invites the public to watch its upcoming A Night at Club 277, featuring Juno Award-Winning singer Liberty Silver.
The performance will be live on the museum's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Liberty Silver started her career on Star Search, the old TV program that paved the way for shows like America's Got Talent. She was also the first Black woman to receive a Juno Award and opened for Bob Marley at Madison Square Gardens when she was 12. In 1985, she took part in the charity ensemble performance of "Tears Are Not Enough," which raised money for famine relief in Ethiopia.
"Our audience should expect a lot of R&B, up-tempo songs with some strong ballads and a few original songs," said Silver. "This is a feel-good event. We'll have fun."
The event on April 21 at 7 p.m. is free, but the organizers say donations through the museum's website are welcome.
The museum is also hosting a silent online auction starting April 17 to noon on April 22.
