Ground has broken on a new subdivision in LaSalle on 58 acres of land on Laurier Parkway between Disputed Road and Huron Church Line.
Lankor Horizons Inc. plans to invest $150-million into the new neighbourhood over the next three years by building 91 detached homes, 44 semi-detached bungalows, and four mid-rise condominium towers. The new homes will range from a 720 square-foot, one-bedroom condo to a 4,000 square-foot, six-bedroom mansion.

Eventually, the subdivision will be home to 370 families, and the value of the planned properties will exceed $250-million.
Work to service the site started late last month, and Coco Paving expects to finish that part of the job in seven months.
The homes should go up for sale in early summer, but 35 premium lots west of Meo Boulevard sold out weeks ago.
"Many people want to move to LaSalle, but they are being turned away because there are so few properties available in the new-build or resell market," said Lankor President Imad Najjar.
With the addition of the subdivision, which will be known as Laurier Heights and Laurier Horizons, LaSalle's population is projected to grow 2 per cent and increase tax revenues by $2-million by 2024.
