Three arrested, one outstanding in home invasion investigation

Windsor police have arrested three suspects and are looking for one more in a home invasion investigation.

On March 18, two men wearing masks and carrying a firearm entered a home on Aspenshore Avenue.

The suspects allegedly assaulted two elderly residents inside the home, and a large amount of jewellery was stolen. Both victims suffered minor physical injuries.

"Based on our investigation, this was not a random act. We have evidence to believe this was a targeted incident, and it was calculated and deliberate," said Sgt. Darius Goze.

Sgt. Goze said the couple did not know any of the suspects.

Three Windsor residents face numerous charges, including robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime and false representation of a peace officer.

Investigators continue to search for 30-year-old Nicholas McCullough. He is a white man, around 6' tall and 187 pounds, with a muscular build. He may have short dark brown hair and a trimmed beard. He is known to frequent Chatham-Kent, London, and Sarnia.

Police want him for several charges, including robbery, assault, possession of a weapon, break-and-enter, and false representation of a police officer.

He is also the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for a breach of his statutory release. He is serving a six-year, seven-month sentence for a 2015 shooting near a downtown Windsor nightclub.

Police say McCullough should be considered dangerous and should not be approached directly. Anyone who sees him can call 911 immediately.
